O Sinarquismo foi inspirado na pensamento social católico dos anos 20 e 30, baseado na encíclica papal Rerum Novarum do Papa Leão XIII.

Pegando o mesmo ímpeto da política que formou o movimento dos Cristeros, os sinarquistas procuraram mobilizar o campesinato contra as tendência ateístas e comunistas.

Pregava cooperação social contra a luta de classes do socialismo, e hierarquia e respeito à autoridade contra o liberalismo.

Synarchism derived from the current of Catholic social thinking of the 1920s and 1930s, based on the papal encyclical Rerum novarum of Pope Leo XIII.

Taking its impetus from the same strand of politics that had informed the Cristiada movement, the synarchists sought to mobilise the peasantry against atheistic and communist tendencies.

It stressed social co-operation as opposed to the class conflict of socialism, and hierarchy and respect for authority as opposed to liberalism.
